​The Taste of Freedom is an annual gathering in the Seattle area that brings together supporters and those interested in learning more about the work of Papilio. ​It is a fundraising event for Papilio, a non-profit that brings comfort to women on the streets of Southern Spain who have been trafficked. By building relationships through an active group of local volunteers their hope is to provide these women with a means of rescue.​​​

This year, we’ll shine a light on the journey of women who travel from Morocco to Spain—carrying hopes for a better future, only to find themselves trapped in unimaginable darkness. Together, we will celebrate the powerful stories of those who have been rescued, restored, and are now living the lives they once only dreamed of.
